Dave Gregory
(song and book)

Dave
has recently retired after teaching in public schools and college. Music and songwriting have always been his love and he enjoys sharing this with all age groups. His song "Theodore Was Here," was the inspiration for doing this storybook. Joyce, his wife, is a retired elementary school teacher and librarian, who has always felt that Theodore would make a great children's book.

Grace Puls

Grace
is a retired speech therapist and the creator of the poem about Theodore. She wrote it to include developmental word patterns to help children in speech therapy. Grace and Dave collaborated on the project by joining the writing of the poem and music.

Vuthy Kuon
(illustrator)

Vuthy
was born in Cambodia and moved to the United States in 1975. He graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design, studying under David Macaulay, Barry Moser, and Mary Jane Begin. Vuthy (pronounced WOOD-TEE), a former art teacher, currently resides in Boston where he now devotes his time to illustrating childrens books and scheduling author visits at elementary schools. He has made appearances on NBC, CBS, and FOX, with his previous book, Humpty Dumpty: After the Fall

Dave
is a retired college professor. He now enjoys promoting his Theodore books and original children's songs through elementary school programs and educational conferences. Dave is often called the "Singing Storyteller" because he combines his original songs with telling about the story of Theodore. Dave is also the author of the book and song, Theodore was Here!, which is published by the Theodore Publishing, Inc. His wife, Joyce, is a retired elementary teacher and librarian and is a partner with Dave in developing and marketing the Theodore books and songs.

Grace Puls

Grace Puls and Dave Gregory taught together in elementary schools in Seguin, Texas in the late 1960s. Grace is the creator of the original poem about Theodore. She is a retired speech therapist who has always enjoyed writing poems. Many of her writings include developmental word patterns that help children in speech therapy. Grace and Dave collaborated in developing the original Theodore book and music. Theodore Was Here again! includes many developmental word patterns and rhyming words that are used in the original poem.

Dan Dudley
(illustrator)

Dan
was born in 1960 outside of Waco, Texas. His parents became missionaries when he was 3 months old. They moved to what he likes to refer to as "Far East Texas"...Tokyo, Japan. There he developed an insatiable love for cartoons and animation which has been his career for the last 20 years. He has his own animation studio in Richardson, Texas.
